Terms of Service

Effective date: 1 April 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Keepsafe ("Service"), operated by Keepsafe Pte. Ltd. ("Company", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Important disclaimer — Not legal advice

Keepsafe is an informational tool, not a law firm.

The will drafts, templates, guides, and other documents generated by Keepsafe are for educational and informational purposes only. They do not constitute legal advice and do not create a lawyer-client relationship. You should always consult a qualified Singapore lawyer before signing any legal document. Keepsafe is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on documents generated by the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Keepsafe account. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately at legal@keepsafe.sg if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • You may not share your account with another person.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Singapore law.
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or files intended to disrupt the Service.
  • Attempt to access another user's account or data.
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract content from the Service.
  • Misrepresent your identity or provide false information.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of all data and documents you upload to Keepsafe ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process it solely to provide the Service to you. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over Your Content.

6. Service availability

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts access and will endeavour to give advance notice where practicable.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, Keepsafe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the fees paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or S$100, whichever is greater.

8. Intellectual property

All content, trademarks, software, and design elements on Keepsafe (excluding Your Content) are owned by or licensed to the Company. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

9. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without prior notice. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or in-app notification at least 14 days before any material change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
