Keepsafe is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.
Nothing on this platform — including will drafts, planning guides, checklists, calculators, or any other content — constitutes legal advice or creates a lawyer-client relationship. All content is provided for educational and informational purposes only.
Will drafts
The will drafts generated by Keepsafe's Will Wizard are templates only. They are not legally valid until:
- The testator (you) signs the document in the presence of two independent witnesses.
- Both witnesses sign simultaneously in the presence of the testator.
- Neither witness is a beneficiary named in the will, or a spouse of a beneficiary.
We strongly recommend having your will reviewed by a qualified Singapore lawyer before signing. A lawyer can advise on complexities such as CPF nominations, Syariah law for Muslim estates, testamentary capacity, and potential challenges.
Financial information
Any estate value estimates, distribution simulations, or financial figures shown on Keepsafe are illustrative only. They are based on information you provide and simplified rules. They do not account for all legal, tax, or financial considerations. You should consult a licensed financial adviser for personalised financial planning advice.
Accuracy of information
We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on Keepsafe accurate and up to date, including Singapore inheritance laws, CPF rules, and estate planning guidance. However, laws change, and we cannot guarantee that all content reflects the current legal position. Always verify important legal information with a qualified professional.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, Keepsafe shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or legal consequence arising from your reliance on information or documents generated by this platform. Use of Keepsafe is at your own risk.
Seek qualified advice
For estate planning, we recommend consulting:
- A Singapore lawyer for will drafting, LPA, and estate administration.
- A licensed financial adviser for CPF nominations, insurance, and investment distribution.
- The Office of the Public Guardian for LPA registration.
- The Syariah Court for Muslim estate matters (Faraid distribution).
